Kajsa Dahlberg (born 1973 in Gothenburg, Sweden, lives and works in Oslo). Dahlberg lived in the camp, and through conversations with the participants negotiated an agreement which formed the basis for the screenplay.

In the second part, Holmkvist interviews Latvia's former president Guntis Ulmanis and his long-time interpreter, Ieva Zauberga.
