Hamish Fulton

Hamish Fulton (b. 1946) lives and works in Canterbury, Kent, England. Fulton belongs to a significant group of British artists educated at St. Martin's School in London in the late 1960s, who challenged conventional ideas about artistic practice. Fulton is a walking artist who only creates works resulting from individual walks, which are made manifest in unique wall drawings and paintings, photographs and texts. He is represented in most major museums in Western Europe and the US, and has exhibited extensively worldwide.
